Savor traditional Romanian dishes at Hanul La Barieră, a restaurant located within the National Village Museum in Bucharest, housed in a building full of history with a history spanning over 150 years.
A STOP WITH HISTORY
On the old trade route between Muntenia and Transylvania, merchants, carters, and shepherds practicing transhumance would stop at the “La Bariera” Inn. Located near the customs post in Valenii de Munte, the inn became a landmark for travelers crossing the Teleajen Valley.

In 1990, the La Bariera Inn was carefully dismantled and rebuilt at the “Dimitrie Gusti” National Village Museum so that future generations could discover and experience the charm of an authentic Romanian inn.
